President Trump renewed his attacks on the Fox News network, going after the outlet on Twitter earlier today. The president criticized the news channel and anchor Martha MacCallum for conducting what he described as a “softball” interview with Congressman Eric Swalwell. The president attacked Fox News earlier this month in a series of tweets, although the network shied away from reporting on the incident.

President Trump’s last feud with Fox News came just a few hours after the network aired a segment from a bar in France following the US Women’s National Team’s win in the FIFA Women’s World Cup. While Fox News senior foreign affairs correspondent Greg Palkot reported live from the event, patrons at the bar began chanting “f-ck Trump.” The chant was repeated several times before the video feed was cut.

In his previous round of tweets, the president attacked the network’s weekend reporters. He even suggested their news coverage was “worse” than CNN and MSNBC, two of his frequent targets.  Although then-candidate Trump repeatedly attacked Fox News during the 2016 Republican primary, the network was able to avoid his wrath as president until recently.

The president’s past tweets also targeted Fox News anchor Shepard Smith and contributor Donna Brazile. Smith is a persistent critic of the president, drawing Twitter attacks from Trump in the past. Brazile, as the president reminded his followers, was forced to resign after leaking debate questions to Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign.

Although the president has tweeted favorably about Martha MacCallum in the past, he was clearly unhappy with her this evening. “Fox sure ain’t what it used to be,” President Trump said on Twitter. “Too bad!”
