President Trump officially launched his 2020 reelection campaign tonight in Orlando, Florida. Some of the president’s supporters began waiting in line for the venue more than 24 hours before it began. A Fox News crew spoke with some of the hundreds of supporters lined up for the event at 7 AM, more than 12 hours before it was set to begin.

The president’s supporters ultimately filled the 20,000 person capacity Amway Center before his speech began at 8 PM. Aside from bashing the Democratic Party and his 2020 opponents, President Trump appeared to announce a new campaign slogan: “Keep America Great.”

Although President Trump often targets his political opponents for criticism, his attacks were particularly vicious throughout the event. At one point, he accused the Democratic Party of attempting to destroy the United States as we know it.

The event appears to have been a success for the president, considering he raised nearly $25 million in less than 24 hours. President Trump’s campaign brought in donations as a result of the event than was raised in the entire fundraising quarter from January to March.

President Trump took to Twitter after the event to thank his supporters and further target his Democratic opponents.
